Dear Shelba,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how Zeus is doing.
He is quite the "ham" and everyone who meets him loves him. I am
working with him on socialization because he tends to be a bit timid.
Zeus is afraid of moving objects such as bikes, strollers, children,
ect. and new sounds send him hiding. He is gradually getting braver
and I am really enjoying him. He just had his castration surgery on
July 2 and is doing great. He is now over 9 pounds and is growing
like a weed. I am curious to see how much he weighs next week when
he has his followup visit with Dr. Zwart. Zeus is becoming quite the traveler and
loves to go to the parks and lakes with me and Dino. He climbs in his car crate and
naps so he is ready for adventure when we reach our destination. He an Dino ( my
older Shiba)are becoming good friends. Dino is very patient with his
little buddy's antics although he has to correct Zeus some times.
Zeus had his first experience trying to fetch a stick ( one of his
favorite games is fetch) from the water and decided he does not like
going in the lake. He stood on the shore and waved his paw at the stick trying to get
it to return to him. We have begun working on obedience together and is doing much
betterwalking on the leash now. He loves it when I put the 26ft retractable
on him so he can run and feel like he is free. I have been using it
to working on recall and Zeus is doing very well with the command
although I know that Zeus's response would probably be different if
he was off leash.I have attached some recent pictures of Zeus so you can
see how he is growing. These were taken at the lake on July 4th.
Sincerely,
Pam Shelton
Hi Shelba! We have Candace! She's precious. We're driving home
from airport now. I'll be in touch. Thank u for everything!! we decided
on the name Lexington (Lexi). I'll send more pictures, of course!Lexi
is doing great! You were right - she loves to eat, her food and
Maddie's!She looks like she's getting bigger already :( I wish she
would stay just the size she is now. She's sooo lovable, too. We just
adore her!
Mommy & Daddy bought me a life jacket, Shelba!
Chris
Hey Shelba,
Just letting you know all is well and Sierra is doing
wonderful! She's officially house trained and we are so
happy to have her. Thanks for everything! A few
pictures of her are attached.
Jade and Sean
I am emailing you right now while the kids are napping with myra. she is awesome. Everyone loves
her. this morning we took her to the vets and she got her first lyme shot. Evelina bought her new
small balls to chase. we have been so busy. the kids love her. this morning at 6:15 evelina's toes
were hanging over her bed and myra licked them. she woke up evelina and you should of seen her
face. evelina had a huge smile and said "myra, i love you." everyone loved it at the airport watching
evelina and myra meeting for the first time. The flight came from Texas and there was older women
with the southern accent saying oh look at that little girl and her new puppy. Evelina said in front of
everyone Myra i love you and i am going to take you home!!! the older ladies ate it up.. evelina told
myra about the picture of her on her bedroom wall. My one year old alonso and evelina like to have
myra follow them through the house. the kida showed her their rooms. Myra is the baby.. When we
walk her outside she likes to lick the kids toes (they are wearing sandals.) i cant explain how great
she is. Oh we gave her her first bath here. She is so tiny. we have a double sink and she fits in the
one side no problem. that was our family activity after lunch and before nap today. the kids are crazy
about her. they won't let her out of their sight. she is eating well and drinking well. making sure we
keep the air on in the house because it has been hot here(well hot for upstate ny) nothing compared
to what you have in the south. her poops is so cute. i know that sounds funny. it looks like rabbit poop
so small. I did notice though well i went through her paperwork I don't have the information on
registering her microchip. please email papers please i will try to have the kids and i call you later.
tonight is bath night for the kids. well it been so hot here every night is bath night. thank you again so
much for our baby
with much love

Hi Shelba, I'm having a little difficulty in sending you this email.
We just want to let you know how much we love this little
stinker and how much we appreciate your bringing him to us!
Here are some pictures of his arrival and the last two weeks or
so that we have had with him. Unlike others we did not change
his name because Cody just seemed to fit!
I just wanted to let you know that we couldnt be any happier
with cowboy. He is the greatest little joy full of life, and
extreme energy. I attatched a couple of pictures from when
he was still a baby. Believe me he has grown quiete a bit
since then though lol. We love him so much we even
considered getting another little Shiba.
Thank you

Good afternoon Shelba!
Bella (Buffy) is doing awesome! She's made herself quite at home
already haha. I brought her to the Callfield Companion animal clinic
on Tuesday afternoon. She was 2 lbs and 8 oz and got her next
booster. They put her on a plan for her next boosters and rabies
shot, and said she was perfect, which I couldn't agree with more.
Thanks again so much for driving and meeting us.
~Nikki
Shelba,
I just realized that I never sent you pictures of Indy, the
yorkiepoo that I bought from you, well here are some of our
favorites! Sorry it took so long.

Misty's first dog fair
Hi shelba! We had a Wags to Wishes going on last weekend and went
to
our first dog fair. They had a lot of dog clothes so we tried some on
and took some pictures. We kept the neckerchief .... Not the hat. I
didnt want to embarass her LOL

Hi Shelba,
I wanted to give you an update on Gizmo (Sonny). Today is the 5th day that I have had him,
and it already seems hard to imagine life without him! He is so sweet and has the cutest
face. He is very social, and gets along reallly well with everyone and every dog that he
meets. He follows me everywhere and keeps me company when I am doing mundane
house chores. He is definitely a big chewer, he will grab ANYTHING, so I have to watch him
very carefully, but I have a lot of chew toys and bones handy so when he starts to chew on
something that he shouldn't, I give him one and he is just happy as a clam. The vet said he
was very healthy and he is a big boy! He weighed 5.7 pounds at our vet visit. I just wanted
to say how pleased I was with Gizmo's delivery. I was a little nervous about getting a puppy
shipped to me but everything worked out great. He was so happy to see me when I picked
him up at the airport and was such a good boy on the ride home from the airport and didn't
seem frightened at all! I will keep you updated on how he is doing and send pictures as he
grows! Thanks for everything!
Nicole Stewart

Hi Shelba,
It's Angela Mickle. My sister Amy Hester reminded me that I
need to send you new pics of Stella (Ella), sorry about the
delay. Somehow when we got her home her name
affectionately changed from Ella to Stella! She is the sweetest
thing ever! Every where we go people love her and want to
know what kind of dog she is! She has house broken so easy
too. She loves our kids so much and was even kind of sad
when the boys went back to school last week! Anyway, wanted
to let you know that we really love her and she is doing great!
Thanks again,
Angela
She weighs 5lbs14ozs. She's full of energy and still loves
to eat!! She is doing really well - We adore her! We will
definitely stay in touch with updates and pictures.
Love,
Chris Ellis
Happy Halloween, Shelba! My first
Halloween Costume!
Love,
Lexi Ellis (Candace)
Hi Shelba,
We took Dolly (we call her Sushi, she loves the sound of it) to the vet and she is perfectly healthy. She is a very
smart little girl. Potty training was very easy, I took her outside once or twice and after that she knew exactly
where to go, she had no accidents. She is very socialized and seems to like everyone. We started obedience
training couple of days ago and she is catching on fast, she understands "come here", "sit" and "lay down"
very well. I am sending you one picture because it is very hard to have her stand still. Thank you so much for a
perfect puppy.
Marina

Dear Shelba,
Our little one has settled right in and she is the most popular girl in the neighborhood. I cannot begin to tell
you how thrilled we are with the way you had her socialized and how well cared for she was. She seems
poised beyond belief, handles new people, new dogs, and new situations with aplomb! She scared my 10
pound "grand-puppy" to death just trying to be friendly (boy, did we laugh).
and barrel and is already using the Pet Loo quite often all on her own (oh, she has plenty of little accidents,
but she REALLY loves treats and she gets one every time she remembers to use the Pet Loo). She has
been so good in her crate at night that believe it or not, we've had full nights' sleep from the day she came
home to us. The first night, I woke up frequently because I couldn't believe she was still sleeping, but she
was still snoozing away. She does seem to have a split personality: miss sweet and wonderful, gentle little
one AND the Tiger hunter who can race at the speed of light and chew your finger off if you're not careful :-)!
Poor Tiger toy... She has us laughing so hard! She sneaked under my nightgown yesterday, grabbed the
front hem and ran like blazes behind me. She only weighs four pounds, one ounce, but she almost took me
with her. What a character!
I've enclosed a couple of pictures (as you can see, she's not much spoiled) and will send more as she
grows. Thank you again for this wonderful girl, who has been named Phoebe Grace. We wanted to call her
Shelby (sort of in honor of you), but the little twerp refuses to answer to that. There's something about
Phoebe that gets her attention (especially if accompanied by a treat).
Thank you so much for everything.

Hi Shelba!!
I am SO happy and thankful for my new puppy Callie. She is the most beautiful,
loving, playful and HEALTHY puppy! We went to the vet today and she got a
wonderful report! She weighs 6 1/2 lbs and got her second round of puppy shots.
She was so brave and everyone loved her. Callie has had only a couple accidents
in the house and has already learned to sit! She is so smart. I have attached
pictures of her from when we first picked her up from the airport to her first vet
appointment. I can't wait to spend all of my time with her. Thank you for such an
amazing dog! I will keep in touch and let you know how she is doing.
Thank you!! :)
Lindsay
Hi Shelba,
Sorry it took so long to get some pictures to you. We love having Zoey in our home and have
grown to love her so much already. She is adorable and has been a perfect little puppy! I hope
you enjoy these pictures!
Thanks so much,
Karen
I got him and he is a perfect angel!! Everyone gets along. I'll be sure to
send you pictures. Here are a few from our first day together :D
Dear Shelba:
We love our new puppy! I hope you don't mind we changed his name from Sammy to Kobi. He's
adjusted well to our family and has had no problem making friends. He is so playful and full of life.
He loves playing fetch and likes to stand on his hind legs as though he were dancing. Thanks for
everything he has brought us so much happiness and laughter!

Some of you knew about this new addition, for those who were not aware, I would like to introduce you to our newest member of the family. Her
name is “Nalani” Which is Hawaiian for “Heaven” Her name is pronounced Nah Law knee
The whole family sat down the other night to pick out a name and unanimously agreed on this name. There were
several other choices but when this name was tossed out the whole family jumped on it.
Nalani is a 10 week old Malt-a-Poo. We picked her up at SeaTac Airport this morning. She flew in from Arkansas.
Before the day was done a certain two had already started a bonding that was very noticeable Need I say more? Naptime.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. She is a very sweet puppy.
Andrew and Hannah are doing their best to make this sweet little puppy feel welcome in our home.
I will also say now that this is the first animal that they are not skittish about being around. This is a good thing for everyone.
Tim
Nalani seemed to enjoy the cool floor when she was inside Here she is relaxing with her new play toy.

Shelba,
Scooter arrived yesterday into many loving arms. Our two children said, "This is the best day of their lives!"
We could not be more happy to have gotten such a wonderful and playful little puppy. He is perfect. The entire
neighborhood has come by. In all honesty, its been tough getting folks to leave.
Anyhow, he's found many places of comfort around the house. We're keeping him in the crate at night for the
time being, but aside from that, he owns the house.
Here's a picture of his two new (and closest buddies Abby (7), Sean (4))
Thanks again.
We may send you some video as well. You are welcome to post this picture on your website.
Mike/Laura

Hi Shelba!
I finally have a moment to send you an update as to how Milo is doing. You were
right, he's giving me a run for my money. He is absolutely wonderful and I could not
have asked for a better puppy. He has an awesome personality and loves meeting
new people. He met my little cousins who are 3 and 4 and had a great disposition
with them. I took him to the vet on Saturday and he said everything checks out and
he looks perfect. You were right when you said he loves toys, he can't go two feet
without a toy in his mouth. He has also made two best friends already, Moose, one
of my best friend's year old black lab, and Parlay, my boyfriend's 10 week old black
lab. You wouldn't know he's only 3 pounds because he keeps up with the big dogs.
Potty training is going pretty well, he's learning to use pee pads inside since I live in
an apartment and can't rush him down 3 flights of stairs, and we also go outside
frequently to a nice, clean park to play and go to the bathroom. He seems to be
eating and drinking well. The very same day I brought him home he was chowing
down and running around all over the place. I just wanted to say thank you for
everything. He is exactly what I wanted and so much more. I'll be sure to keep you
posted on how well he is doing! :)

Hello Shelba,
Sorry that it has taken awhile for updated pictures. We have been in the process of
moving. Here are some pictures of Kiba "the Shiba" (Sundance). I hope you enjoy
them. We are just in love with him. Thank you for the blessing you have given us.
We are a happy family.
Sincerely,
Brandon and Gracie
Hi Shelba!

Danielle
We are in love! Nicki is adjusting so well! She' been sleeping and using her paper. She is so funny
barking at the cats. I was able to find her food brand and some toys. She slept in her crate, but she
wouldn't let us close the door to it! The girls had a black stuffed puppy her size, she snuggled with.
She is precious!! Thank you so much. Diann and family
Here are a few pictures from the summer so far. As you can see...Titan
is a VERY spoiled puppy!!!
Our new puppy known as Nalani, has bonded with everyone in the family in there
own way. However her and my husband are best of pals.
She loves chewing on grass and twigs in the back yard! Here is one of MANY
pictures we have taken of her. It's not very often thou that she sits still for the
camera. :)
Thanks again for our wonderful puppy!
Danielle
Hi Shelba!
I bought Haley ( now Kona) from you a year ago this June. Just wanted to send you a
few pics of her so you know how she's doing. She lived in Mass, then FL for a while,
but now we finally call Manhattan home and of course her favorite spot is the dog park.
Thanks for everything!
Justin

I'm Erica Thomas, my husband David purchased Logan from you. I was just writing to
say that I can appreciate the hard work you've done from just looking at your website.
I can tell that this little guy was taken good care of and I just wanted to let you know
that he will be loved here. We have a son (12) and a daughter (9). They love animals
as a matter of fact they are thinking about becoming veterinarians. I'm a home school
mom so we will not be spending hours and hours away from him. Hi Shelba!
Well, he is really warming up to us now. He is following the kids around and he has
even started to let us know when he need to go outside to use the bathroom. Here is a
couple of pics of him at play.
Erica

Hi Shelba, we just had our Misty's first B-Day on January 26. I can't believe it's been a
year! I wanted to send you some pictures of that day so you could be a part of it, also one
picture of christmas with her pitbull brother in their fuzzy collars. She had steak all day,
played in the park and even got a cake .... which she only got a small lick of.

Shelba,
I wanted to contact you to let you know how Jericho was doing. My husband came up with the new name Akki,
which supposedly means "wicked demon" in Japanese. The name couldn't be further from the truth though. Akki
is everything I wanted in a Shiba and more! He basically came housebroke, is TOO smart, and is fast to learn new
things (he can already sit, lay down, crawl, and stand on his hind legs and dance for treats). The vet I take him to is
also amazed at his temperament. During our second appointment she said, "I've never had a Shiba try and lick my
face, normally they try to bite it." He absolutely LOVES kids, and is such a happy little guy. He shies away from
adults at first but if they stay still with hand out he'll go up and "introduce" himself to them. My cats are still
adjusting to him, and we're working on, "No, don't chase the kitty.", but he doesn't try to hurt them at all, he just
wants to play. We've been to a couple of lakes now and he enjoys swimming also, which could be because you had
him used to water by the time I got him. He's also growing like a weed and is now 16.6lbs, healthy as a horse, and
neutered. Everywhere I go people want to know what kind he is and where I got him from so I'm sure you going to
have plenty of people from WV looking at your site! I'm already thinking about when I can get my next Shiba! Thank
you so much for the wonderful socializing and care you gave him prior to selling, I'm sure that made the biggest
difference in his temperament. I also really appreciate all the time you spent on the phone answering all my
questions about Shiba's and Akki, it was very reassuring to someone buying a puppy online. We're starting a puppy
obedience class next month so I can eventually get him certified to be a hospital/nursing home visitor. The trainer
also mentioned he would be a good candidate to learn agility training to compete if I was intersted since he is so
willing to learn and so healthy. Again, I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful addition to my family!
Tabitha, Michael, Akki, Drac, and Pixie Justice

I love them so very much..it is very hard to get BAM BAM to calm down long enough
to take a picture... I was however able to get one of them together although they are
sleeping...I will continue to take pictures and when I get ones that are good enough I
will definitely send them...
Thanks again.....
Theresa.

I've attached a few pictures of our pup.
His name is now Petey. From day 1 of bringing him home, he's been
a FIRECRACKER...spoiled rotten, we don't own him, he owns us. I've trained dogs for 5 years in the
past...he's by far the fastest learning puppy
I've ever owned. He's smarter than ever. He's gone on road trips from California to North Dakota with us
and now has a little sister who he
LITERALLY TREATS like a little sister! Though his little great dane sister is just about his size now and will
be much bigger I think he'll always treat
her like a pup ...He litterally went upstairs and brought each toy down from her kennel one by one and set
it in front
of her until she picked which one she wanted to play with. I don't let her go up and down the stairs yet to
keep her bones from being inpacted
so while i'm carrying her, Pete will walk in front of me all the way down watching carefully to make sure I
don't drop her. He really is
the best dog..minus the whole shiba scream during bath time...you'd think we were strangling him or
someting!....aand the whole I'll listen to you
when I choose..or only if you have a treat LOL...
I take pictures everyday when there's a classic cute moment with both our dogs so, here are just a
couple of them :)

Sincerely,
Liz Mainwaring
Shelba,
Here is our first picture of Taylor (Cinnamon). The kids absolutely love her. She was a little
shy and hesitant at first, but no more. She has made herself at home. She hasn't had an
accident in the house yet, she has done great. Thanks again,
Christopher
Hi Shelba

joy into our life...even my husband loves him! Barking and all! Ha! He is truly a great
family pet, he is adorable and loving with a great temperment. he is all of 4lbs 10 oz.,
but thinks he is 50lbs.
Thank you so much, we could not ask for a better fit!
